Q:Wilbur, two quick random questions about shellac. How do you store your dry flakes, and did you have any luck with Kari's undissolved lump? -Eric

Anonymous

Hi Eric,

My dry shellac flakes are in a plastic bag inside another plastic bag. I’ve been using seedlac. Dewaxed shellac seems to have a shorter shelf life, even in flake form, as Kari found out.

On the other hand, I did have luck with Kari’s undissolved lump.

P.S. Personally, I hate it when blog writers say that they will be writing about something in the future on their blog, but since you asked, I’ll be writing about that in the future on my blog.

P.P.S. Hmm. I should probably rewrite that “undissolved lump” line.
